Downtown Denver Residents Organization Governance

DDRO is a 501(c).4 non-profit volunteer organization governed by a board of directors. The board represents the broad spectrum of the organization?s membership - downtown residents and residential-serving businesses. Board members are elected by the membership at the Annual Membership Meeting in December and serve for a term of one year, renewable annually.

The 2005 Board of Directors consists of eighteen members and one Board Emeritus member. Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month starting at 6:00 pm at the offices of the Downtown Denver Partnership (511 16th Street Mall, second floor).

DDRO members and the general public are invited to the meetings to observe or to present information to the board for its consideration. Please call 303-820-3376 at least a day in advance if you plan to attend.

If you are interested in serving on the board, contact a board member or our President, Nancy Green at 303-820-3376.  You may also want to attend some board meetings to let us know of your interest . Also, become a member of one of DDRO?s committees (or start one of your own addressing a particular issue in downtown that you?re concerned about) so that we can become acquainted.
